Halloween at Nexus Lounge: A Haunted Night Out near Roseville & Rocklin
Nexus Team · · Events
All October, Nexus Lounge turns haunted: jack-o'-lanterns, skulls and cobweb-draped lights, Halloween drinks at the bar, and Haunted free-roam VR. Plus trick-or-treat in costume on Halloween day.
Looking for Halloween things to do near Roseville, Rocklin or Sacramento that go beyond a pumpkin patch? This October, the whole of Nexus Lounge & VR becomes a haunted house. The lounge is dressed for the season, the lights are turned down low and spooky, the bar is pouring Halloween specials, and our free-roam arena is running Haunted, a VR horror experience you walk through with your friends. It's a full Halloween night out under one roof, all month long.
The Lounge Goes Haunted
Walk in and the first thing you notice is the glow. Carved jack-o'-lanterns flicker on tables crowded with grinning skulls, old apothecary potion bottles, black roses and dripping candles. It feels like stumbling into a witch's study that someone forgot to lock.

Look up and the ceiling is draped in cobweb canopies, threaded with hundreds of tiny string lights that twinkle against our signature cyan neon. Across the room, a window display burns deep orange, filled with pumpkins, spiders and eerie glass skulls, the kind of corner your friends will line up to take photos in.

Then there's the lounge itself: deep red velvet chairs, low lighting and plenty of room to settle in with a drink. It's moody, it's cozy, and it's the perfect place to start or end a spooky evening.

Halloween Drinks at the Bar
No haunted house is complete without something to sip. Our Bar & Cafe has two Halloween specials this October:
- Vampire in the Machine ($15 per glass): bold red wine, Guinness and our secret blood syrup. Dark, rich and a little dangerous.
- Zombie Guts ($6 per glass, non-alcoholic): an orange raspberry dirty soda, bright, fizzy and gruesomely good. Perfect for kids, teens and designated drivers.
See everything else we serve on our Bar & Cafe menu.
Step Inside Haunted: Free-Roam VR Horror

No cables, no standing in one spot: wherever you walk, the haunted world moves with you. Your group stays together the whole time, so you'll hear every scream.
- Family-friendly, ages 10 and up
- Up to 8 players per session
- $20 per person on any day we're open
On Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31 (2 PM to 12 AM), our Haunted Halloween event drops the price to $5 per person when you book online by October 24, or $10 at the door. Get the details on our Haunted Halloween event page.
Trick-or-Treat at Nexus on Halloween Day
Bring the costumes! On Saturday, October 31, everyone is welcome to come in costume and trick-or-treat at Nexus. It's an easy, safe stop for families in Rocklin, Roseville and nearby, and a great excuse to show off your outfit in a room that already looks the part. (If you're playing VR, skip big masks or anything bulky that won't fit under a headset.)
