The Ultimate All-in-One Venue: VR, Escape Rooms, Food, and a Bar Under One Roof

Nexus Team · 2026-07-31 · Events

Planning a group event usually means compromising. You either get a great activity with terrible food, or a great bar with nothing to do. Discover how Nexus Lounge & VR is changing the game by offering world-class VR, escape rooms, food, and a fully stocked bar all under one roof.

The Classic Event Planning Dilemma

If you've ever planned a corporate offsite, a milestone birthday party, or even just a large group night out in the Sacramento area, you know the struggle. You almost always have to compromise.

If you want a highly engaging activity (like an escape room or a trampoline park), you are usually stuck with mediocre pizza and a vending machine.

If you want great food and a full bar, you usually end up at a traditional restaurant where half the group is stuck at the opposite end of a long table, unable to socialize or actually do anything fun.

And if you try to do both? Now you're managing logistics across multiple locations, wrangling Ubers, and hoping everyone shows up to the second venue on time. It's a logistical nightmare.

The Solution: Everything Under One Roof

At Nexus Lounge & VR in Rocklin, we built our 6,400 sq. ft. facility specifically to solve this problem. We believe you shouldn't have to choose between premium entertainment and premium hospitality.

We are the only venue in the greater Sacramento region that combines cutting-edge immersive entertainment with a full-service hospitality experience, all completely under one roof.

1. The Entertainment: World-Class VR & Escape Rooms

The core of the Nexus experience is our entertainment. We don't do dusty arcade cabinets. We offer premium, active, shared experiences:

• Zero Latency Free-Roam VR: Step into our massive warehouse-scale arena where up to 8 players can walk freely without wires, battling zombies or exploring alien worlds together.
• VR Escape Rooms: Ditch the physical padlocks. Our VR escape rooms let you float in zero gravity, shoot lasers, and solve impossible puzzles in highly immersive environments.

2. The Hospitality: In-House Bar & Catering

Unlike traditional entertainment venues, our hospitality isn't an afterthought—it's half the experience.

• The Gamer's Bar: A fully stocked in-house bar featuring premium craft beers, fine wines, and our signature cocktails. You don't have to leave the venue to get a great drink.
• Food & Catering: From casual lounge bites and pizza for a birthday party to upscale catered options for corporate buyouts, we handle the food so you don't have to.
• VIP Lounges: Relax in style on our red-leather couches while watching the action on massive 75-inch screens.

Perfect for Any Occasion

Because we offer everything in a single, climate-controlled venue, Nexus is the ultimate destination for:

• Corporate Events & Team Building: Start with a presentation in the lounge, move into team-building VR sessions, and finish with a catered happy hour.
• Adult Birthday Parties: Gather your friends for drinks, play a high-stakes escape room, and celebrate without ever having to change locations.
• Large Venue Buyouts: With a capacity of up to 100 guests, you can rent the entire facility for a private, seamless event.
